Job Summary The Retail Operations Executive is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of retail outlets, ensuring operational excellence, inventory accuracy, sales growth, compliance with food safety and company standards, and delivering a positive customer experience. The role works closely with management, marketing, procurement, QA, and retail teams to drive sales performance, optimize operations, and maintain consistency across all retail locations. Job Responsibilities: Retail Operations Management Oversee and support the daily operations of multiple retail outlets. Conduct regular store visits to ensure operational efficiency, service excellence, and compliance with company standards. Ensure all retail outlets operate in accordance with established SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety requirements. Monitor store performance and implement corrective actions where necessary. Support new store openings, store renovations, and operational improvement initiatives. Sales & Business Development Work closely with the Marketing and Procurement teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns and sales activities. Coordinate and implement in-store promotions to drive sales and improve customer engagement. Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability. Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to recommend product and sales strategies. Assist management in achieving sales targets and business objectives. Inventory & Stock Management Monitor inventory levels and stock movement across all retail outlets. Coordinate stock replenishment and transfers to ensure product availability while minimizing wastage. Review weekly inventory reports and investigate stock discrepancies. Work with Procurement to manage aging inventory and develop strategies to clear slow-moving stock. Ensure accurate stock records and inventory control procedures are maintained. Team Coordination & Workforce Management Communicate and coordinate with retail team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Prepare and manage monthly duty rosters and manpower scheduling. Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and deployment. Provide guidance, coaching, and operational support to retail staff. Foster teamwork and ensure employees understand and comply with company policies and operational procedures. Compliance, Quality & Food Safety Conduct regular outlet inspections to ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational standards. Work closely with the QA team to conduct internal audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and company policies. Maintain proper documentation and records relating to operations, audits, and compliance matters. Support initiatives to enhance food safety culture and operational excellence. Reporting & Administration Prepare and analyze operational, sales, and inventory reports. Perform monthly billing conversion and administrative documentation as required. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for operational improvements. Maintain accurate records of store performance, inventory, manpower, and audit findings. Assist management in preparing business reports and operational reviews. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and improve productivity. Recommend cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service and product quality. Support the implementation of new systems, technologies, and operational procedures. Participate in company projects and initiatives aimed at improving retail operations and customer experience. Job Requirements: · Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Logistics Management · Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management within the retail industry · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Strong proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with SAP S4 is a plus · Ability to perform well under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment · Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work efficiently · Attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement
