IT Engineer (Surveillance System)

Job Summary The IT Engineer is responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and integrated security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Visitor Management, AI Solutions, Dell servers, NAS storage, and network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain CCTV, Access Control, Visitor Management, and AI security systems. Install, configure, and maintain Dell servers, NAS storage (e.g. Synology/QNAP), RAID storage, and backup solutions. Configure and troubleshoot Windows Server, workstations, network switches, PoE switches, routers, firewalls, and storage systems. Perform system commissioning, testing, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and health checks. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, storage, and network issues. Perform server, storage, and system migrations, upgrades, and data recovery where required. Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers. Prepare service reports, system documentation, and technical records. Coordinate with vendors and customers to resolve technical issues. Ensure projects are completed according to specifications, quality standards, and schedule. Support system integration, software upgrades, and end-user training where required. Comply with company safety procedures and customer site requirements. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure or security systems. Knowledge of Windows Server, Dell PowerEdge servers, NAS storage, RAID configuration, backup solutions, virtualization, and networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, PoE). Familiar with CCTV, Access Control, or ELV systems is an advantage. Good troubleshooting and analytical skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Experience with Dell PowerEdge Servers, Synology/QNAP NAS, Hikvision, Bosch, Axis, Suprema, or other enterprise security platforms.
