Reporting to the Manager, Business Development, APAC, the Business Development Representative (BDR), Singapore will be the first point of contact between insightsoftware and potential customers across Southeast Asia. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers, generating a healthy pipeline of opportunities that the Account Executive team can convert into long-term partnerships. What You'll Do Prospecting & Outreach Execute high volume, high quality outbound prospecting via email, phone, LinkedIn, and personalised multi touch sequences targeting finance and CFO personas across Southeast Asia. Research and identify key decision makers and influencers within target accounts, building personalised outreach strategies that resonate with their business challenges. Pipeline Generation Generate and qualify new business opportunities that meet defined criteria, booking discovery calls and product demos for the Account Executive team. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified opportunities, pipeline value, and activity metrics. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activity, account intelligence, and pipeline status in Salesforce. Sales & Marketing Alignment Work closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless handoffs and a shared understanding of ideal customer profile and qualification standards. Support account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns by executing coordinated outreach in alignment with marketing programs and content launches. Provide regular feedback to marketing and management on messaging effectiveness, campaign quality, and prospect pain points. Learning & Development Actively participate in training, coaching sessions, and call reviews to sharpen prospecting skills, product knowledge, and objection handling. Build deep understanding of the CFO solutions landscape, insightsoftware's product portfolio, and the competitive environment across APAC markets. Take ownership of your personal development with a view to progressing into an Account Executive or Senior BDR role. Qualifications Mandatory Skills & Experience 1-3 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or inside sales role, preferably within a B2B SaaS or technology company. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding outbound prospecting and pipeline generation targets. Hands-on experience with equivalent sales tools: Salesforce, Gong, Claude, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, able to craft compelling, concise outreach that cuts through the noise. Self-motivated with a high degree of accountability and a results-driven mindset. Ability to manage a high volume of activity while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Based in Singapore with the right to work without sponsorship. Preferred Skills & Experience Experience prospecting into finance, accounting, or ERP buyer personas (CFO, VP Finance, Financial Controller). Familiarity with account based marketing (ABM) methodologies and intent data platforms such as 6sense. Additional language skills relevant to Southeast Asia, Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, or Thai. Exposure to the CFO solutions, FP&A, or enterprise finance software space. Experience working in a high growth, fast paced SaaS environment. Demonstrated ability to receive coaching and apply feedback quickly.
