We leverage our deep technical, legal and business expertise to help innovative enterprises grow using their intangible assets, including IP. The Hearings & Mediation Department (HMD) comprises hearing officers, legal counsels and a legal support team. What you will be working on • Case management - Work with legal counsel and internal team to manage HMD cases towards an effective, economical and expeditious resolution, including reviewing and processing documents filed by parties. • Customer engagement - Respond to public and customer enquiries in accordance with prevailing IPOS customer service standards. • Paralegal work - Opportunity to assist in legal research. • Department administration - Support the department in matters such as knowledge management, updating HMD-related content on IPOS website, preparing statistics and resolving technical issues in the electronic online system. • IP ecosystem engagement - Support the organisation of a signature IP / Tech dispute resolution events in Singapore, support the promotion of Singapore IP / Tech dispute resolution in key overseas markets, support the administration for the development of toolkits and other resources for the promotion of Singapore IP / Tech dispute resolution in key overseas markets and assist to manage the database of stakeholders in key overseas markets. What we are looking for • At least 2 years of working experience • Meticulous and systematic • Able to write and communicate clearly in English • Able to work well independently and within a team • Background in law and/or intellectual property will be advantageous
