Project Engineer

Qualifications & experience Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or Structural Engineering Preferably 1-2 years of relevant experience Able to interpret structural and architectural drawings accurately Previous experience in the building construction field is advantageous but not mandatory Good interpersonal and communication skills Use of Autocad would be an advantage Able to work independently with minimal supervision Tasks & responsibilities Study on contract requirements, planning, and execution of project schedules. Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve the discrepancies in between drawings and as well as those arisen during the project execution. To prepare method statements, risk assessment, progress report and technical submissions. To work at site and arrange manpower, materials for project daily. To supervise the construction works and coordinate / attend meeting with client’s representatives, consultants and sub-contractors on project and technical matters. Carry out in-progress inspection and joint inspection and to ensure that the works were executed to the required quality standard. Other ad-hoc duties when assigned.
