Industrial Product Designer (M&E/ HVAC)

Our esteemed client in the Manufacturing industry is seeking an Industrial Designer/ Product Design Engineer (M&E) to join their dynamic team: Employment Type: Permanent Position: Industrial Designer/ Product Design Engineer Location: Kaki Bukit Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm Salary Package: Basic + Performance Bonus Job Responsibilities: Research and design innovative industrial products based on market trends, user needs, and business goals. Create sketches, 2D drawings, and 3D models using SolidWorks, Rhino, or AutoCAD; ensure compatibility with STL and STP formats. Develop product forms, materials, and finishes, ensuring full functionality and manufacturability. Partner with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Marketing throughout the product lifecycle. Prepare precise design specifications, technical drawings, and documentation for prototyping and mass production. Lead prototype evaluation, testing, anditerative design improvements. Ensure all designs meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality guidelines. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve design and production issues. Support cost-reduction efforts while maintaining design integrity and product quality. Assist in creating mock-ups, renderings (KeyShot), and presentation materials for management or client reviews. Job Requirements: At least 1 year of related experience with mechanical product design. Experience with cooling towers, heat exchangers, or HVAC systems is a plus. Proficient in 3D design and drafting software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, AutoCAD, KeyShot or similar. Ability to produce accurate 3D models and technical drawings for engineering applications. Good understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturability. Ready to apply?
