Our esteemed client in the IT industry is seeking a Senior Software / Full Stack Engineer to join their dynamic team: Employment Type: 1-year renewable contract Position: Senior Software / Full Stack Engineer Location: Central (Nearest MRT: Raffles Place/ Clarke Quay) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm Salary Package: Up to $7,600 + Bonus Job Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of complex software features, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with long-term technical objectives. Drive the adoption of high-quality engineering standards, ensuring that software systems are maintainable, secure, and reusable. Participate actively in system architecture discussions and technical decision-making, driving the adoption of modern software engineering practices. Help shape the technical direction of digital initiatives to maximize their impact on the public good. Establish and refine engineering practices and tools that foster a strong, effective, and collaborative engineering culture. Independently navigate work-related dependencies and communicate technical concepts effectively to both senior leads and legal domain experts. Collaborate with leadership to define and update technical plans and infrastructure roadmaps to meet future organizational needs. Job Requirements: Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering. Proven track record of building and maintaining large-scale, high-availability software systems. Experience in public sector, legal, or highly regulated environments is advantageous. Deep experience in modern full-stack web application architecture and development. Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript for front-end development and TypeScript or Python for back-end and AI-related application development. Hands-on experience in Generative AI (GenAI) development, including working with Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG patterns, and building AI-driven features. Solid hands-on experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines exclusively using GitLab CI within the SHIP-HATS ecosystem. Ready to apply?
