Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Investment Data Management Lead to drive the strategic management, governance, quality, and operational oversight of investment data across the organization. The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Reference Data, Security Master, Pricing, Corporate Actions, and Investment Data domains across both public and private market asset classes. This role will work closely with Portfolio Management, Trading, Operations, Risk, Performance, Compliance, Technology, and Data Governance teams to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timely availability of investment data supporting front-to-back investment processes. This role involves managing reference data operations, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing processes within the Aladdin/Golden Source/SimCorp system to support business functions effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of investment data management frameworks, controls, and operating models. • Establish and maintain data governance standards, policies, data lineage, and data quality controls. • Manage critical investment data domains including: Security Master Reference Data Pricing & Valuation Data Corporate Actions Benchmarks and Index Data Counterparty and Issuer Data • Oversee the management, maintenance, and governance of reference data within the system. • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across financial applications. • Lead and coordinate data migrations, integration projects, and system enhancements related to reference data. Responsible for handling all BAU activities in the following operational areas: ▪ Data Operational ▪ Performance Data Operational ▪ Investment Performance and Attribution ▪ Setup/ Maintenance Global Tax Rates ▪ TBOR | CBOR | ABOR trades/ records Provide subject matter expertise across all major asset classes, including: Equities Fixed Income Foreign Exchange Money Markets Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) Mutual Funds Structured Products Derivatives (Listed and OTC) Commodities Alternatives Private Equity Private Credit Real Estate Infrastructure Investments • Lead EDM initiatives supporting investment management, operations, risk, and regulatory reporting. • Drive data sourcing, onboarding, mapping, normalization, enrichment, and distribution processes. • Collaborate with technology teams to enhance data architecture, workflows, integrations, and automation. • Ensure robust data lineage and traceability across the investment ecosystem. • Partner with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Investment Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams. Required Experience • 12+ years of experience in Investment Data Management, EDM, Reference Data, Security Master, or Investment Operations within asset management, wealth management, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance, or investment banking environments. • Strong understanding of front-to-back investment lifecycle and investment operations. • Proven experience managing investment data across public and private market asset classes. • Deep expertise in derivatives, including futures, options, swaps, CDS, IRS, TRS, and other OTC products. • Extensive experience with data governance, data quality management, and operating model design. Preferred skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, or related discipline. CFA, CIPM, FRM, or equivalent professional qualification preferred. Experience working within global asset managers or institutional investment organizations. Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern data architecture frameworks is desirable.
