About this role
Job Summary You will ensure the availability, resilience, and performance of the Azure AI cloud platform and Red Hat OpenShift–powered RE: AI platform. Lead incident response, cybersecurity operations, and collaborate with teams to embed monitoring and security best practices in AI/ML workflows. Responsibilities Optimize performance of the Red Hat OpenShift–powered RE:AI cloud platform using observability and tuning tools Monitor availability and detect outages on the Azure AI cloud platform to maintain continuous service uptime Lead incident response and conduct root cause analysis to resolve platform issues and minimize downtime Design and implement disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity Manage cybersecurity operations including vulnerability management, threat detection, and enforcement of access controls Support security audits and compliance reporting aligned with policies, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices Collaborate with developer teams to integrate monitoring, automation, and security best practices into AI/ML workflows Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, observability, and operational excellence Apply infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) and automation scripting (PowerShell, Python) to streamline platform operations Operate cloud security tools such as IAM, SIEM/SOAR, firewalls, and endpoint detection systems to protect platform integrity Required competencies and certifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 4-6 years of experience in cloud administration and/or operations Expertise in Azure operations and monitoring services including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift observability and performance tuning using built-in monitoring and logging tools Strong skills in incident management, site reliability engineering (SRE) practices, and disaster recovery design Practical experience with cloud security operations including IAM, SIEM/SOAR, vulnerability management, firewalls, and endpoint detection Knowledge of security compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, CIS, and NIST Preferred competencies and qualifications Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure components including AKS, GPU VMs, data pipelines, and model hosting Demonstrated problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills in high-pressure incident scenarios Ability to anticipate failure scenarios and develop effective response plans
