Test Analyst (Must Have SQL (Microsoft Db), Microsoft Dynamics 365 + Prefer Azure DevOps (Azdo))

Job Description The Test Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of applications under the IRIN and ISDS environments. The role supports application maintenance, enhancements, and ICT projects by planning, executing, and managing software testing activities across the full delivery lifecycle. Key Responsibilities 1. Test Planning & Management - Review business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents. - Prepare test plans, test strategies, and test schedules aligned to IRAS methodologies (e.g. ADMM, Agile). - Estimate testing effort and man-days accurately. - Coordinate with Project Managers, System Analysts, and Developers on test scope and timelines. 2. Test Design & Execution - Design and maintain: - Test scenarios,Test cases,Test scripts,Test data - Execute different test levels: - System Testing (SIT), Integration Testing,Regression Testing,User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support - Validate batch and online processing, including performance-sensitive components. - Perform defect verification and re-testing. 3. Defect & Quality Management - Log, track, and manage defects using approved defect management tools. - Ensure defects meet IRAS severity definitions and resolution timelines. - Perform root-cause analysis for major and recurring defects. - Ensure compliance with defect density thresholds during SIT, UAT, and warranty periods. 4.Documentation & Reporting - Maintain complete and auditable test documentation. - Produce test progress reports, defect status reports, and test summary reports. - Highlight risks, issues, and mitigation actions proactively. Qualifications Required Skills & Competencies: - Functional & Testing Skills - Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and SDLC - Experience testing large-scale, mission‑critical systems - Familiarity with: - Functional testing - Regression testing - Integration testing - Batch job validation - Experience supporting UAT with business users Technical Skills (relevant to assigned systems): A Test Analyst should be familiar with at least one of the following technology stacks, depending on domain: - .NET / C# / VB.NET - Microsoft SQL Server Experience Requirements - Minimum 3 years of testing experience - Experience supporting systems ≥ 500 man‑days - Exposure to both online and batch processing systems - Prior public sector or regulated environment experience is an advantage
