Buildings Inspector

Key responsibilities shall include but is not limited to the following: Carryout on-site inspections of structural and architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and building codes. Perform physical checks such as building facade assessment, concrete/masonry element assessment, concrete reinforcement bar verification, and dimensional measurements using appropriate tools and equipment. Inspect ongoing construction activities at various stages, including substructure, superstructure, temporary works, erosion control works and finishing works, ensuring workmanship quality and safety standards are met. Access via scaffolding, mobile elevated working platform, cat ladder and confined areas may be required based on work requirement to perform close-up examinations and verify site conditions. Record inspection results, prepare detailed site reports with photographic evidence, and highlight any non-conformances or defects for rectification. Maintain the quality of products (reports), services, customer support and level of service inline with service level agreements and other retention strategies. Requirement Diploma in building or equivalent Class 3 driving license in Singapore Work at height certified.
