Safety Supervisor/Coordinator

Job Description: 1. Carry out daily inspections to identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions. 2. To ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly. 3. Supervise all work activities comply with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, WSH Regulations, and CAG project safety requirements. 4. Verify that workers follow safe work procedures (SWPs) and risk assessments (RAs). 5. Identify workplace hazards and report during construction activities. 6. Recommend and implement appropriate control measures. 7. Communicate site hazards, control measures, and safety reminders to workers and site supervisors. 8. Supervise High Risk activities such as; Lifting operations, Work at height, Excavation works, Confined space entry, Hot works, Demolition works a and Piling works 9. Verify the contractor Site Safety Records such as MSRA Briefing Record, Permit to Work (PTW), Training records and certificates and Toolbox meeting Record 10. Reporting unsafe conditions/unsafe act immediately. 11. To immediately contact the ASM/PSM of the incidents and provide updates. 12. Work closely with the ASM/PSM to maintain a safe work environment. 13. Reporting unsafe conditions/unsafe act immediately. 14. Requirements: - Minimum requirement “WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B). - At least 2 years of working experience in the construction industry as a Safety Supervisor/Coordinator in Singapore. - Contractor site work experience would be an advantage
