We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of smoke control and building mechanical systems projects. The role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Project Management & Delivery Lead the planning, execution, and completion of multiple projects from initiation through final handover. Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor key milestones to ensure timely project delivery. Manage procurement activities, material deliveries, and project budgets while maintaining cost efficiency. Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to minimise delays and operational issues. Site Management & Coordination Supervise project engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout project execution. Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, main contractors, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project progress. Conduct project meetings, monitor site activities, and maintain accurate project documentation and records. Testing, Commissioning & Handover Oversee testing, commissioning, and system verification to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements. Review project performance, monitor costs and schedules, and ensure all project deliverables are completed before handover. Prepare final documentation and support successful project completion and client acceptance. Safety & Quality Management Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations, ISO standards, and company quality procedures. Monitor site safety practices, support internal audits, and promote a safe working environment throughout project execution. Ensure all work activities comply with applicable engineering standards and statutory requirements. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders. Support management in resolving project-related issues and identifying opportunities to strengthen client partnerships. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Minimum 6–8 years of project management experience within building services, M&E, or construction projects. Candidates with experience in smoke control systems, fire alarm systems, HVAC, or building automation systems are preferred. Strong understanding of local building regulations, safety requirements, and industry standards. Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project teams and multiple concurrent projects. Good communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office for project reporting and documentation. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM is required.
