Procurement Engineer

Purpose of the Role: Protect the organization from legal and operational risk by ensuring all contracts, vendor relationships, and renewals comply with company policies and legal standards. Maintain business continuity by proactively managing contract lifecycles, software licenses, and personnel documentation to prevent service disruptions and compliance gaps Role Attributes: Detail-oriented and compliance-focused – requires meticulous attention to contractual terms, deadlines, and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate documentation and systematic tracking. Cross-functional coordination role – serves as a central liaison between legal, vendors, HR systems, and internal stakeholders, requiring strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple relationships simultaneously. Responsibilities Review contracts to verify compliance with company policies and legal standards, mitigating organizational risk. Facilitate communication between the legal department and vendors to resolve contract-related issues promptly. Update and maintain personnel records accurately within the Darwin Box HRIS system to ensure data integrity. Oversee mandatory learning programs by tracking completion status and enforcing compliance deadlines. Manage the renewal and tracking process for personnel documentation to maintain up-to-date records. Track software license renewals and ensure all licenses remain current to avoid service interruptions. Maintain comprehensive records of contracts and software renewals and generate regular status reports for stakeholders. Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience with contract management and vendor liaison. Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Darwin Box.
