Accounts Executive (Full-Time) Location: Tuas (7 mins walk from Tuas Crescent MRT) Basic Salary: S$3,500 to S$4,300 + VB, AWS Working Hours: 5 days, 09:00am to 06:00pm Job Description The Accounts Executive supports the Group Finance Manager in daily accounting operations and ensures accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements. The role involves handling financial data, maintaining proper records, and assisting in the preparation of reports for management and regulatory purposes. The individual will liaise with internal stakeholders, auditors, and external parties, while staying updated on relevant regulatory and tax requirements. Roles and Responsibilities: Cash Management Maintain and control petty cash, including updating the petty cash records and cash book. Prepare and process monthly payments, including supplier payments, staff salaries, and ad hoc payments. Monitor customer duty payments, including Duty Payment (DP), Import GST (IG), and Import Duty (ID). Record all cash and cheque receipts, as well as payments, in the accounting system accurately and promptly. Full Set of Accounts Maintain full sets of accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions. Fixed Assets Maintain the fixed assets register and ensure timely updates of depreciation schedules. Month-End Closing and Financial Reporting Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, profitability reports, and variance analyses. Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances. Management Reporting and Statutory Submissions Prepare financial and management reports for submission to management for review. Audit and Tax Maintain audit schedules and supporting documentation. Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary. Prepare and review corporate income tax filings and related schedules. Payroll and HR Administration Process monthly payroll, overtime, and incentive calculations accurately and on time. Handle monthly CPF submissions. Process staff claims and reimbursements. General Administration Provide general administrative support and undertake other duties as reasonably assigned by management.
