About this role
Interfacing Manager a. Minimum 5 years of working experience with strong construction background. b. Good degree in Engineering, Architecture or Building Science, with at least 8 years of experience in the construction industry. c. Strong experience in project management and coordination, preferably in large scale civil and infrastructure works. d. Self-motivated, driven and possess good analytical/ problem solving skills. e. Able to understand technical drawings, specifications and requirements. f. Able to work independently, a strong team player and to handle fast paced projects. g. Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders across all levels. h. Strong negotiation and conflict management skills. i. Good presentation skills. In addition, the responsibilities of the Interfacing Manager shall be but not limited the following: a. The Interfacing Manager is responsible for managing the interface points between packages of work, scope of work and that of other parties working on site. b. Ensure inputs are managed and incorporated into construction planning and operations. c. Provide daily work scope related support to the site team in a fast paced construction environment by fully understanding the work programmes and work activites. d. Remain knowledgeable of all requirements and milestones for all packages. e. Work closely with planning, construction and commissioning teams to identify and resolve planning, engineering and design issues. f. Be conversant with all procedures in the latest version of Changi Aerodome Manual, Airside Works Procedures Manual, Airport Operational and Safety (AOS) requirements and CAG Engineering & Development's Group's Safety Management System Manual,. To make conscious effort to be constantly updated on any subsequent revisions to the above-mentioned manuals, procedures and all applicable airport circulars. g.
