Job Overview The Director GDCL oUS SENA (Southeast & North Asia) is a supply chain leadership role responsible for overseeing and advancing the Global Deliver & Customer Logistics (GDCL) strategy for the SENA markets within DePuy Synthes Orthopedics. This role has a critical impact on service excellence, supply reliability, and operational performance. The position partners closely with regional and global stakeholders to ensure compliant, efficient, and patient-focused supply chain operations, while leading transformation initiatives that support growth and resilience. Key Responsibilities Lead the GDCL oUS strategy for SENA (Southeast & North Asia), ensuring alignment with APAC GDCL oUS and Gloabl Supply Chain objectives and local market needs. Provide executive leadership for end-to-end customer logistics, distribution, and delivery operations, with accountability for service, cost, quality, and compliance outcomes. Partner with Commercial, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance leaders to ensure uninterrupted product supply and a best-in-class customer experience in Japan. Drive continuous improvement, digital enablement, and operational excellence initiatives across warehousing, transportation, and order fulfillment. Ensure full compliance with local regulations, global standards, and DePuy Synthes policies governing supply chain and logistics activities. Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement. Act as the primary SENA (Southeast & North Asia) markets representative within APAC GDCL forums, influencing strategy and sharing best practices. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Finance, Law, Economics, or related field). MBA or advanced degree preferred. Experience and Skills Required: Minimum of 12–15 years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations leadership within a regulated industry. Demonstrated leadership experience managing complex distribution and customer logistics organizations. Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, including warehousing, transportation, and customer fulfillment. Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, global organization and influence senior stakeholders. Experience driving large-scale transformation, continuous improvement, and performance management initiatives. Preferred: Experience within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated industries. Prior leadership responsibility for Asia-Pacific markets. Strong change management and digital supply chain transformation experience. Demonstrated success leading through periods of organizational change. Other: Languages: English required; additional Asian languages are an advantage. Travel: Up to 30% regional travel across North & South Asia.
