Preschool Educator - Chinese Language

Responsibilities Conduct lessons & activities according to our preschool curriculum & programmes Implement developmentally & culturally appropriate curriculum to support the holistic development of children Create a secure, safe & quality learning environment for children Carry out routine care duties for children Build meaningful, trustful & respectful relationship with children through good classroom & children management strategies Prepare teaching materials & learning centres activities to enhance children’s learning Monitor chidlren's developmental progress & prepare termly progress reports & half-yearly portfolio for children as well as conduct parent-teacher-meetings Ensure health, safety & hygiene of children & maintain cleanliness at the Centre Maintain good communication & establish good rapport with parents & families to build trusting & respectful partnership Participates in parents & community engagement activities Work closely with colleagues & participates in centre-based events & organization initiatives Participates in professional development & continuous learning activities & reflective practice Qualifications Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Teaching (DECCE-T) (Chinese Language) ECDA accreditation of L2 Teacher Other Requirements Proficient in teaching preschool Chinese Language curriculum at all levels Passion in working with & nurturing young children Good team player with a positive and can-do attitude Good interpersonal and communication skills Dedicated & self-motivated to excel Work Location Kovan - Heartland Mall (Kovan MRT) Hougang Green Shopping Mall 18 Tai Seng (Tai Seng MRT) Grantral Mall @ Macpherson Road (Tai Seng MRT)
