About this role

Responsibilities 1) Financial Operations & Reporting Manage full set of accounts and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing and financial reporting Responsible for hands-on recording and processing of financial transactions (sales, purchases, inventory, accruals, prepayments, finance costs) Process and verify vendor invoices; monitor outstanding receivables to ensure timely payments and collections Closely monitor customer portals for purchase orders and prepare documentation to process orders Reconcile customer and supplier statement of accounts Liaise with banks on trade financing facilities (Trust Receipt / Letter of Credit -TR/LC) and compile supporting documentation for financing and approvals Prepare budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for monthly management reporting Prepare quarterly GST submissions Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretary on statutory audit, tax filing, and compliance matters 2) Cash Flow & Treasury Management Forecast cash flow, banking facilities, and working capital requirements Track daily cash balances and ensure sufficient working capital to meet operational requirements 3) Inventory Management Oversee inventory forecast and management to ensure no supply disruption to customers Requirements Degree/ Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional certification (e.g., LCCI or ACCA – partial or full) is an advantage Minimum4 to 6 years of relevant experience within the FMCG or Trading industry Experience with Info-tech ERP software is preferred Familiar with trade financing instruments such as Trust Receipt / Letter of Credit(TR/LC), with experience liaising with banks Meticulous, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Proficient in MS Office applications Proficient in written and conversational English and conversational Mandarin; conversational Korean is an advantage.
