Technical Manager

Job Description & Requirements Oversee the daily technical operations of the commercial laundry and dry-cleaning facility. Ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laundry and dry-cleaning machines. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise equipment downtime. Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards and operational efficiency are maintained. Identify and resolve technical issues affecting machinery and workflow. Train, mentor, and upskill operational staff on the proper use, maintenance, and safety procedures of equipment. Supervise technical staff and provide guidance on equipment maintenance and operational best practices. Liaise with equipment suppliers and service providers for repairs, maintenance, and technical support. Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies. Recommend process improvements and equipment enhancements to improve productivity and service quality. Job Requirements Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Relevant experience in lieu of qualifications will also be considered. At least 5 years of experience in the commercial laundry, dry-cleaning, or related industrial equipment industry. Strong knowledge of commercial laundry and dry-cleaning machinery, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Experience in supervising technical or operational teams. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Able to work independently and manage multiple operational priorities.
