Solution Sales Specialist (Business Development) - SaaS

Our Client: Our client is a leading digital solutions provider dedicated to helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to increase their digital payment performance and capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify, engage, and acquire new merchant accounts through field sales, prospecting, and business development activities. Conduct face-to-face visits to retail stores, F&B establishments, service providers, and SMEs to generate new business opportunities. Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through cold calling, walk-in visits, referrals, networking, and market intelligence. Understand merchants' business challenges and recommend suitable digital payment solutions that address their operational needs. Deliver compelling product demonstrations and solution presentations to prospective customers. Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and successfully close new business opportunities. Own the complete sales lifecycle, from lead generation and qualification to contract signing, merchant onboarding, and account activation. Partner closely with Operations, Implementation, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new merchants. Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline updates within the CRM system. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to uncover new business opportunities and strengthen market presence. Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and merchant acquisition targets. Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline. Experience in field sales, business development, merchant acquisition, solution sales, or B2B sales is preferred. Comfortable conducting outdoor field sales activities and engaging merchants through face-to-face meetings. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills. Highly self-driven, resilient, and motivated to achieve challenging sales targets. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong command of English; proficiency in additional languages or dialects is an advantage when engaging diverse merchant communities.
