Lead Electrician

Reporting from the company’s yard, which supports the entire company’s operational worksites. The Electrician primary role is to maintain, repair, test electrical system & apparatus, which are operational. The electrician is also responsible for ensuring that all electrical works are carried out in the safest, possible way. The Company’s operational businesses are highly dependent on electrical power usage to perform their daily operations. Job Description: Install, maintain and repair electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment. Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code CP 88. Provide electrical and technical support to the operational worksites with basic electrical troubleshooting. Prepare electrical spares in yard to be acceptable working conditions. Perform basic electrical troubleshooting to reduce the machine downtime. Inspect and test components of electrical equipment. Utilize wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects. Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans. Opportunity to gain more knowledge in both AC/DC electrical apparatus and also learn about interpreting electrical codes, manuals, diagrams, power tools and other stipulations. Follow and comply with Company’s safety rules and regulations. Must be willing to work in construction sites/ outdoors environment and be exposed to different weather conditions.
