Newborn Hearing Screener (Contract, Dept Of Neonatology)

We are seeking a responsible and committed individual to join our team which provide an essential health screening service for newborns in KK Women's and Children's Hospital. Job Description: Conducts hearing screening on all suitable newborns in the post natal ward nurseries, special care nursery and other area as required.  Enters data accurately in the screening equipment.  Enters screening results accurately in the patient health booklet.  Informs parent(s) about newborn hearing screening.  Assists in outpatient re-screening. Communicate with newborns' parents/caregivers. Performs daily check on equipment consumables.  Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor. Job Requirements: GCE N / O / NITEC / Higher NITEC At least 1-2 years’ experience Able to work on weekends and Public Holidays Good team player and able to work independently Able to stand long hours Strong interpersonal and communication skills Meticulous with strong organization and coordination skill
