Technical Manager (Jurong Island)

Job Description Ensure the implementation of sound HSE culture in the Power Plants. Ensure the legal compliance on all the activities in the Power Plants with respect to Health and Safety, industrial requirements and statutory requirements etc. Ensure that the activities of the Power Plants, especially related with Management of Change (MOC) are managed, controlled and documented through the Quality Management system. Support the Team to achieve highest level of reliability of the Power Plants. Support the Team during un-availability scenarios to ensure fast recovery of the Power Plants. Identify Propose and Implement process improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency of the Power Plants. Analise technical problems in the Power Plants and propose and implement solutions to prevent or mitigate the consequences of such problems. Analise Power Plants incidents and propose corrective actions to avoid recurrence. Monitor proactively Power Plants Operations to anticipate technical problems. Support to develop and implement tools that enable better monitoring of Power Plants, Systems and Equipment performance. Support the Team in the preparation and execution of the Planned Maintenance. Provide managerial guidance, direction, develop and motivate Power Plants Team. Liaise with the external stakeholders for the daily operative issues. Liaise with the internal stakeholders to ensure reliable and efficient operation of the Power Plants. Liaise with third party stakeholders, specially LTSA Contractors, to ensure the fulfilment of the respective contractual requirements to safeguard the interest of the Power Plants. Job Requirements Bachelor or Masters engineering Degree from an accredited university. Additional qualifications in Management Administration, Safety, Project, Emergency or Quality Management would be an advantage.
