Job Summary International School Homeroom Teacher Responsibilities Deliver the Cambridge curriculum in Mathematics, English, or Science by applying subject matter expertise to design and execute engaging lessons for students aged 5 to 14 years Manage homeroom classes by fostering positive relationships with students and parents to support a collaborative learning environment Monitor and assess student progress and attainment within your subject area to inform instructional strategies and improve learning outcomes Communicate effectively with parents and school stakeholders to report on student development and address learning needs Required competencies and certifications Hold a First Aid Certificate to ensure student safety and respond effectively to emergencies Possess a Registered Teacher Qualification such as QTS or an equivalent credential to meet professional teaching standards Preferred competencies and qualifications Degree in education demonstrating foundational knowledge in teaching methodologies and child development (Diploma education is not sufficient). Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Homeroom Teacher in an international school setting to deliver curriculum and manage classroom dynamics effectively At least 5 years of prior experience in an international school environment preferred to contribute to school culture and student success Other Information Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: In person Benefits: Health insurance
