Senior/Lead Mechanical Engineer (Design Consultancy/Building Services)

Job description Are you a seasoned Mechanical Engineer ready to lead impactful projects from design through construction — and mentor the next generation of engineers? Our client, a leading consulting firm specializing in major development projects in Singapore, is looking for an experienced Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team. What You'll Do Lead the design and development of mechanical engineering works, from concept through to construction completion. Manage full project delivery — budgets, schedules, quality assurance, client communication, and change management. Review technical reports, specifications, calculations, and drawings at every project stage. Oversee project execution, quality control, and contract administration for mechanical engineering scopes. Guide, mentor, and develop junior engineers, fostering their technical and professional growth within a team. What You Bring A degree in Mechanical Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore. PEB Singapore registration preferred. 6-8+ years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering design for building services (open to Senior and Principal level candidates). A proven track record with a consulting firm on major development projects. Strong familiarity with local codes, regulations, and authority submission procedures. Excellent planning, organisational, and supervisory skills, with experience leading and developing a team. Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit is a plus.
