Equity Research Analyst (Full/Part Time)

Role Overview: We are seeking a sharp, intellectually curious Equity Research Analyst. Responsibilities: • Conduct in-depth fundamental research on global large-cap companies across sectors • Analyse company financials, industry dynamics, and competitive positioning • Develop and articulate an investment thesis based on independent thinking and thorough analysis • Work closely with portfolio managers and other analysts in a highly collaborative process • Monitor existing investments and update views as new information becomes available • Communicate ideas clearly, both in writing and verbally • Prepare and present investment theses and strategies to internal and external parties, and to support our business development activities Key Qualities: • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills • Comfortable working with numbers and financial statements • Intellectually honest and driven by curiosity • Able to work independently and take ownership of research • High attention to detail and rigorous approach to analysis • Collaborative, low-ego team player • Willing to learn and adapt to our firm’s investment philosophy and research approach • Strong personal integrity and good character • Ability to handle varying situations Preferred Background: • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a rigorous academic program • Experienced candidates who display rigorous analytical skills, whether from investing, consulting, banking, or other problem-solving areas. • Passion for investing and markets, including your personal investments • Bilingual in both English and Mandarin so as to communicate with Mandarin speaking clients.
