Job Description: The ideal candidate is a Finance Functional IT Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Finance business processes and excellent stakeholder management skills. While technical knowledge (e.g., VB.NET or SQL) is beneficial, the primary focus is on someone who can effectively engage with Finance users, gather and analyze requirements, coordinate with technical teams, and support the successful delivery of Finance system enhancements and projects. Partner closely with Finance users and business stakeholders to understand business processes, gather requirements, and recommend system improvements. Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications for the development team. Support Finance applications by investigating issues, performing root cause analysis, and coordinating resolutions with internal teams and vendors. Participate in system enhancement projects, upgrades, maintenance activities, and new implementations. Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and production deployment. Facilitate discussions between Finance users, developers, vendors, and project teams to ensure business requirements are accurately delivered. Prepare business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications, process flows, user guides, and project documentation. Monitor project progress, track issues and risks, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. Work with vendors on solution evaluation, proof of concept, and system improvements where required. Ensure applications comply with internal IT governance, security policies, and change management processes. Build strong relationships with Finance users and provide ongoing support to improve business operations. Requirements: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Minimum 5–6 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst supporting Finance systems or Finance transformation projects. Strong business analysis skills with experience gathering and documenting business requirements. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Finance users and translate business needs into functional requirements. Experience supporting Finance application enhancements, implementations, production support, or system upgrades. Experience coordinating with developers, vendors, and project teams throughout the SDLC. Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with Finance ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar enterprise Finance applications. Basic understanding of SQL, databases, or VB.NET is an advantage but not mandatory. Exposure to project management and vendor management. Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
