The Role We are building out our institutional private markets and familyoffice business: offering due diligence, deal execution and demand aggregation,fund and deal structuring (Singapore VCC, India GIFT City), post-investmentservicing, and technology - serving family offices, external asset managers,multi-family offices, investment banks, and institutional partners such asventure capital funds and founders. This is a senior, build-stage role. You will own the offering,develop the demand side (family offices, wealth managers, investment banks),and build institutional deal supply and placement across private markets - sourcing transactions, running them through execution and structuring, andplacing them with investors. You will work directly with the founders andsenior leadership. Key Responsibilities Offering & solutions • Own and develop Kristal’s institutional private markets offering - due diligence, execution, structuring,post-investment servicing, and platform capabilities - packaged and tailored for family offices, wealth managers, investment banks, and institutional partners. • Translate client and counterparty requirements into fund and deal structures (e.g. VCC sub-funds, GIFT City vehicles) and service specifications, working with product, compliance, legal, and operations. • Define and uphold post-investment servicing standards — reporting, corporate actions, and ongoing monitoring. Business development (demand) • Build and manage relationships with external asset managers, multi-family offices, and wealth management firms, routing client demand through Kristal’s execution, structuring, and servicing capabilities (as required). • Develop investment bank relationships where Kristal aggregates investor demand into pooled, KYC-complete institutional tickets. • Cover single-family offices through referral-led engagement; qualify opportunities and take them through to mandate and first transactions. • Develop institutional partnerships with venture capital funds and founders, leading with liquidity solutions and deal placement. Private markets supply & placement • Source private market transactions across multiple channels, including venture capital secondaries,investment bank distribution, intermediary platforms and brokers, family office co-investment, and direct founder liquidity. • Run sourced transactions end-to-end with internal teams - due diligence, structuring, closing, and post-investment servicing. • Place packaged transactions with investors - via wealth management counterparties, pooled institutional tickets, and direct allocations - and run placement mandates for institutional partners from allocation through close. Requirements • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. • 4–6 years of relevant experience inprivate markets, investment banking, private equity, venture capital,institutional sales, or a related financial services role. • Experience in private markets across sourcing and execution - for example, secondaries, private placements,co-investments, or investment banking distribution - with the ability to run a transaction end-to-end. • Institutional coverage experience with family offices, external asset managers, multi-family offices, or fund LP/GP relationships, and a professional network that can be activated. • Working familiarity with fund and deal structuring; exposure to Singapore VCC or India GIFT City structures is an advantage. • Strong commercial judgment and execution discipline; comfortable operating in an early-stage build where processes are being established. • Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia, India, and the Middle East as business requires.
