Location: East Singapore About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Trade Control Manager to lead and strengthen the APAC Trade Control Compliance framework. This role will be responsible for driving regional governance, export control compliance, sanctions management, trade risk mitigation, and regulatory advisory across multiple countries. Working closely with regional stakeholders, you will develop policies, implement trade control processes, provide operational guidance, and foster a strong compliance culture throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities Develop and enhance the APAC Trade Control governance framework, policies and procedures. Lead regional compliance initiatives covering export controls, sanctions, denied party screening, KYC, and trade risk management. Monitor global regulatory developments and translate requirements into practical business guidance. Provide compliance advisory to business and operations teams on trade-related matters. Drive trade control training and awareness programmes across the region. Conduct compliance reviews, investigations and recommend corrective actions where necessary. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to strengthen trade control governance. Support continuous improvement of screening, monitoring and reporting processes. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Law, International Trade or a related discipline. At least 10 years' experience in compliance, legal, governance or risk management, including 5 years' hands-on experience in Trade Control or Trade Compliance . Strong knowledge of:Export Controls (e.g. EAR) International Sanctions Denied Party Screening Trade Risk Management KYC Sensitive cargo and route risk controls Experience within the freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain or multinational manufacturing industry is highly preferred. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across regional teams.
