Engineering Coordinator

ob Responsibilities Coordinate structural steel projects from detailing, fabrication, delivery, and site installation. Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, project engineers, Steel Detailers, and the fabrication team to ensure smooth project execution. Coordinate the submission of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings for approval. Monitor project schedules and follow up on drawing revisions, material requirements, fabrication progress, and site installation. Coordinate with the production team to ensure fabrication activities are carried out according to approved drawings and project timelines. Track project progress and prepare project status reports. Maintain proper documentation of engineering drawings, technical documents, material records, and correspondence. Attend project coordination meetings when required. Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and safety procedures. Perform other duties assigned by the Management. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. At least 2 years of relevant experience in the structural steel, steel fabrication, or construction industry is preferred. Knowledge of structural steel fabrication and installation processes. Able to read and interpret structural drawings, steel shop drawings, and engineering specifications. Familiarity with structural steel detailing processes is an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or other engineering software will be an advantage. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
