Position Summary Our development team consists of passionate gamers and tinkerers who are driven to create fun, engaging and rewarding arcade game experiences for our players. We collaborate, evaluate and iterate on every aspect of the game, with a strong focus on creating experiences that are easy to play, hard to master and enjoyable for a wide range of players. As an Electronics Engineer Intern, you will support the engineering team in developing, prototyping, testing and documenting electronic systems used in our arcade products. This internship is ideal for someone who is curious, hands-on and keen to gain practical exposure to LED lighting, video displays, motor control, sensors, sound systems and other tech that makes for a great game experience. You should be comfortable learning new tools and technologies, working collaboratively with others and taking a proactive approach to problem solving. Key Responsibilities Support the engineering team in understanding electrical requirements and contributing to practical design solutions. Assist in designing, assembling, testing and evaluating electronic systems, modules and prototypes. Perform testing, troubleshooting and verification of electronic assemblies. Assist in preparing and maintaining technical documentation, including part lists, BOMs, test records and specifications. Work with cross-functional teams, manufacturing teams, suppliers and vendors to support issue investigation and resolution. Support engineering activities related to compliance testing and product certification where required. Required Skills and Experience Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline. Basic understanding of electronic circuits, embedded systems, sensors, motors, LEDs and power electronics. Some exposure to microcontrollers or embedded platforms such as STM32, NXP, ESP32 is preferred. Familiarity with communication interfaces such as USB, I2C, SPI, UART, or similar protocols is an advantage. Basic soldering, wiring or prototyping is preferred. Interest in hands-on assembly, troubleshooting, testing and product development work. Basic programming knowledge in C, C++ or Python will be an advantage. Ability to learn quickly, follow instructions and apply engineering concepts to real-world product development. Good attention to detail with the ability to record test results and maintain clear technical documentation. Exposure to PCB design tools is an advantage. A positive attitude, curiosity and willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative development environment. Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to troubleshoot technical issues with guidance. Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the game development team. Internal/External Relationships Works closely with the Engineering, Game Development, Product, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams, as well as external vendors and suppliers where required. Qualifications/Education Currently pursuing a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field. Special Requirements Able to commit to a 6-month, full-time internship based in Singapore.
