As an English Tutor, you will: Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for students of various levels. Teach key language skills, including reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and oral communication. Prepare students for school examinations and assessments through structured lessons and targeted practice. Monitor students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities. Create a positive, encouraging, and interactive classroom environment. Mark assignments and provide timely feedback. Communicate professionally with parents regarding students' progress when required. Work collaboratively with the academic team to maintain high teaching standards. Job Requirements We're looking for someone who: Has excellent command of spoken and written English. Be familiar with PSLE English, O Level English, CEQ, and AEIS English Holds a Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or relevant qualification in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred). Has prior teaching or tutoring experience (experience in tuition centres is an advantage, but passionate fresh graduates are welcome to apply). Is familiar with the local English curriculum and examination formats (preferred). Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills. Is patient, enthusiastic, responsible, and genuinely enjoys working with children and teenagers. Has strong classroom management and organisational skills.
