Construction Foremen

Job Summary Lead and supervise construction crews to ensure timely project completion while enforcing safety standards and maintaining clear communication between field teams and management. Responsibilities Direct daily work activities of crew members and provide training to new workers to ensure operational efficiency Plan and schedule daily tasks to meet project milestones and deadlines effectively Enforce safety protocols and building codes by conducting regular on-site safety talks and monitoring compliance Serve as the primary communication link between field workers and upper management or project managers to facilitate smooth operations Track equipment usage and manage orders for necessary building materials to maintain resource availability Required competencies and certifications Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans to guide construction activities Strong knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines, to maintain a safe work environment Physical capability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift heavy materials to perform construction tasks safely and effectively Preferred competencies and qualifications Minimum 2 to 5 years of hands-on construction experience combined with crew leadership skills to manage team performance and project delivery
