Accounts Executive

Manage full sets of accounts, including month-end closing activities and the preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring timely billing, collections, and payment processing. Reconcile bank statements, post journal entries, and maintain accurate general ledger accounts. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure timely and accurate reporting for GST filing and other statutory requirements. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper accounting for all transactions and resolve any discrepancies. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations. Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets. Stay updated on industry trends, changes in accounting regulations, and best practices. Job Requirements Minimun diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CA Singapore) is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with a proven track record in a senior accounts role. Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and GST regulations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Prior experience in supervising a team is advantageous.
