Business Development & Mechanical Manager (Ship Repair Industry) Job Summary We are seeking a versatile professional to lead growth and technical operations in ship repair. This role integrates commercial strategy, mechanical management, and NDT expertise to strengthen partnerships with shipyards and marine clients. Responsibilities Develop and expand business opportunities with shipyards and vessel owners to increase market presence Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients and potential customers to support business growth Drive sales growth by securing repair contracts aligned with company objectives Oversee mechanical operations, maintenance, and repair projects to ensure timely and quality delivery Lead and mentor engineering teams to achieve high-quality project outcomes and continuous improvement Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and marine industry standards to uphold operational excellence Apply NDT knowledge to improve inspection accuracy and enhance repair reliability Required competencies and certifications Experience in ship repair, mechanical project management, and business development Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills Ability to balance commercial objectives with technical excellence Preferred competencies and qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field NDT qualification (considered an advantage)
