Job Summary The Sales Executive drives consumer sales and brand presence of baby products at key retail partners through customer engagement, merchandising, and operational support. Responsibilities Promote and demonstrate baby products (strollers, car seats, carriers, sterilizers, accessories) to consumers at assigned retail locations to increase sales. Engage customers by understanding their needs and guiding purchase decisions with detailed product knowledge. Achieve monthly and quarterly individual sales targets consistently. Upsell and cross-sell complementary products to maximize transaction value. Build rapport with repeat customers and new parents to foster brand loyalty and encourage referrals. Represent the brand professionally, maintaining a positive and engaging presence on the sales floor. Organize and execute in-store product demonstrations, promotional events, and roadshows as required. Collect and communicate consumer feedback, product inquiries, and competitor observations to the team. Monitor and replenish stock levels at points of sale to ensure product availability and minimize out-of-stock situations. Maintain product displays according to Visual Merchandising (VM) guidelines and brand standards. Set up, maintain, and dismantle promotional displays, seasonal campaign materials, and in-store fixtures. Conduct routine checks on product condition, pricing labels, and promotional signage for accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with logistics and retail store teams for timely stock replenishment and delivery scheduling. Report fast-moving and slow-moving SKUs, stock discrepancies, and display issues promptly. Maintain strong working relationships with store managers, floor supervisors, and retail partners. Submit accurate daily and weekly sales, stock, and footfall reports in a timely manner. Identify and report competitor activities, pricing gaps, and emerging consumer trends to support business planning. Support new store openings, product launches, and pop-up events as directed. Ensure compliance with retailer SOPs, housekeeping standards, and company operational policies. Assist the Key Account team with administrative tasks including compiling sales data, preparing reports, and coordinating store logistics. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the full product portfolio, including safety certifications, key features, and target customer profiles. Attend product training sessions, sales briefings, and team meetings to stay informed. Serve as a credible brand ambassador by confidently addressing technical and safety-related product queries from consumers and retail partners. Stay informed on competitor products, industry trends, and new developments in the baby and maternity market. Required competencies and certifications Physically able to perform merchandising duties including lifting, arranging, and repositioning product displays. Comfortable working retail hours including weekends and public holidays. Basic proficiency in MS Office or mobile reporting tools for daily sales and stock submissions. Ability to stand for extended periods and handle display stock. Preferred competencies and qualifications Minimum Diploma from a recognised Polytechnic or equivalent; relevant retail or sales-related coursework is an advantage. 1–2 years of experience in retail sales, promotion, or frontline customer service roles. Prior experience with baby, mother & child, lifestyle, or consumer electronics products. Familiarity with key Singapore retail environments such as department stores and specialty baby retailers. Bilingual ability in English and Mandarin to engage a wider customer base. Willingness to rotate across multiple retail locations. Adherence to smart casual dress code as per retail partner requirements. Self-motivated and results-driven with ability to work independently and take ownership of sales targets and KPIs. Strong verbal communication skills to engage diverse customer profiles including first-time parents, grandparents, and expatriates.
