Kitchen Assistant

Responsibilities Assist in meal preparation, chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and making sauces as required by the chef Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen, clean prep areas and take care of leftovers Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines Help with kitchen inventory and processing deliveries Work effectively within a team to ensure efficiency in the kitchen Perform other kitchen duties as assigned Requirements and skills Previous experience as a kitchen assistant or similar role Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen Manual dexterity able to handle kitchen utensils and appliances Strong team working and communication skills Physical strength and endurance to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
