About this role
Job Responsibilities: To drive the Company’s truck for the collection and transportation of waste. To assist in the collection of waste from clients’ premises. To ensure that the containers/bins are properly secured/lashed to the truck, before driving off. To assist in the unloading, segregation, and storage of the waste. To comply with all Traffic rules, and to practice safe driving habits while driving the Company’s trucks. To comply with all anti-littering laws and to this end, ensure that proper containers/bins are used to hold the waste, for safe transportation. To perform daily maintenance of the Company’s trucks. In discharging the above duties, adhere to all Warehouse Safety Rules, and observe safe work practices. Requirements: Possessing a Class 4 or 5 driving license With hook-lift trucks with roll-on container experience preferred.
