Job Responsibilities The position supports the company’s daily operational, manpower, procurement and compliance requirements. The role involves both administrative duties and hands-on operational work. Core Responsibilities Operational and Process Improvement Identify operational bottlenecks and improve workflows to reduce costs, increase productivity and enhance overall operational efficiency. Team Leadership Assist with the training and supervision of employees. Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with established Key Performance Indicators, operational procedures and workplace standards. Resource Allocation and Procurement Monitor inventory levels, coordinate supplies and carry out basic procurement duties to ensure that ingredients, equipment and operational resources are available when required. Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety procedures, food safety standards and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain and enforce high standards of workplace, kitchen, storage area and equipment cleanliness in accordance with food hygiene and safety regulations. Delivery and Transportation Carry out delivery and collection duties when required. Ensure that company vehicles are maintained in a clean, hygienic and roadworthy condition, particularly when they are used for the transportation of food, ingredients or equipment. Audit and Documentation Support Assist Food Hygiene Officers with audit preparation, documentation, record-keeping and the filing of food safety documents when required. Kitchen and Operational Support Assist the Head Chef with production coordination, kitchen operations and other miscellaneous duties when required. Strategic Execution Assist in translating management objectives and operational plans into practical day-to-day tasks when required. Communication and Stakeholder Management Communicate effectively with employees, suppliers, customers and management. Assist with resolving operational issues and workplace conflicts while maintaining positive working relationships across departments. Reporting Structure The position reports directly to the Operations Manager for all daily operational matters. Additional Requirements The role includes both administrative paperwork and physical operational duties. The employee must be prepared to assist across different areas of the business based on operational requirements. A valid Singapore Class 3A driving licence is mandatory. The candidate should possess basic knowledge of procurement, inventory management and supervisory responsibilities. The candidate must be comfortable handling food-related operations, deliveries, documentation and physically demanding tasks when required.
