Part Time TCM Bubble Tea Barista

Job Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate TCM Bubble Tea Barista to join our unique tea shop, where traditional Chinese herbal ingredients meet modern bubble tea. In this role, you will craft health-conscious, TCM-inspired beverages while educating customers on the benefits of herbal ingredients. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve TCM-infused bubble tea drinks using herbs like goji berries, chrysanthemum and other natural ingredients. Follow precise recipes while ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and health benefits. Educate customers on the health properties of TCM ingredients and recommend drinks based on their preferences or wellness needs. Operate bubble tea equipment (sealers, shakers, brewers) and maintain cleanliness. Manage inventory of TCM herbs, teas, and toppings, ensuring freshness and proper storage. Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions about ingredients, benefits, and customization. Handle cash transactions and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Assist in opening/closing duties, including brewing teas and sanitizing equipment. Stay updated on TCM trends, herbal remedies, and new drink innovations. Requirements: Previous experience as a barista, bubble tea maker, or in a similar role is a plus but not required (training provided). Passion for bubble tea and knowledge of different flavors, toppings, and trends. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders efficiently. Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions. Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed. Food handler’s certification (or willingness to obtain one). Nice to Have: Creativity in developing new bubble tea flavors or promotions. Experience working in a café, tea shop, or quick-service restaurant.
