Bartender

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. Welcome guests warmly, engage in friendly conversation, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, and other beverages. Ensure every guest receives prompt, professional, and personalised service to enhance their overall experience. Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and sanitation of the bar, equipment, glassware, and workstations throughout each shift. Set up and replenish bar supplies, garnishes, mixers, ice, and other operating items before, during, and after service. Monitor stock levels and report shortages, breakages, or discrepancies to the Bar Supervisor or Manager. Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and proper storage of beverages and bar supplies. Accurately process guest orders and payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Support floor service by delivering drinks, taking beverage orders, and assisting the service team during peak periods. Ensure responsible service of alcohol by verifying guest age where required and refusing service in accordance with company policies and local regulations. Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and minor complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary. Perform opening and closing duties, including bar preparation, cash reconciliation (where applicable), cleaning, and securing the outlet. Follow all food safety, hygiene, occupational health and safety, and company operating procedures. Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain efficient operations and deliver a seamless guest experience. Participate in training sessions and continuously develop product knowledge, mixology techniques, and service skills.
