Responsibilities
- •Develop and implement supplier quality strategies and programs
- •Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and qualifications
- •Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions for non-conformances
- •Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing to define material specifications
- •Manage supplier quality issues from root cause analysis to resolution
- •Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers
Required
- •BS in Engineering or related technical field
- •+ years experience in supplier quality engineering
- •Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
- •Experience with supplier audits and qualification processes
- •Proficiency in statistical analysis and problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA)
- •Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Nice to have
- •Experience in the photonics or semiconductor industry
- •ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CSSBB)
- •Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
- •Experience with global supply chains
