Job Summary Lyza Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Part Time Coding Educator to deliver engaging coding lessons for children aged 5 to 12, fostering their technical skills and curiosity through effective teaching and supportive learning environments. Responsibilities Design and deliver age-appropriate coding lessons that promote understanding and application of programming concepts for students aged 5 to 12 Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and conducive learning environment to encourage student engagement and curiosity Build and sustain positive relationships with students and parents to support student progress and communication Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs and foster student growth Collaborate with team members to continuously improve curriculum and teaching practices Manage classroom dynamics to ensure productive and respectful learning experiences Participate in training and development sessions to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge Preferred competencies and qualifications Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, preferably in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or science Experience working with young children in educational or enrichment settings Knowledge of Scratch Junior, Scratch, Microbit (Scratch and Makecode platforms), and Python programming languages Strong communication skills applied to teaching and engaging young learners Ability to work independently with attention to detail and as a collaborative team player Enthusiasm for learning and experimenting with new teaching ideas and technologies
