Senior Claims Analyst

As part of the Claims team in Singapore, you will join a team of talented and welcoming colleagues. Based in our Singapore office, you will work closely with Chartering, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams while supporting our global commercial activities. Reporting to the Head of Freight & Claims, Singapore, you will be responsible for managing voyage-related claims, maximizing recoveries, and reducing the Company’s financial exposure. The role works closely with Operations, Chartering, Finance, Legal, and external stakeholders to ensure claims are handled efficiently, disputes are resolved promptly, and the Company’s contractual rights are protected. As our new Senior Claim Analyst, we expect you to contribute in the following areas: Key Responsibilities ● Take ownership of the voyage claims portfolio and ensure all recovery opportunities are identified, pursued, and resolved in a timely manner. ● Support Chartering and Operations teams by identifying potential claim risksand advising on strategies to mitigate commercial exposure. ● Identify recurring issues and trends that may result in claims, disputes, orfinancial losses and recommend preventive actions. ● Drive process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducingclaim exposure, and strengthening recovery performance. ● Work closely with Operations, Chartering, Legal, and Finance teams to ensureeffective management and resolution of claims. ● Provide guidance and support on claims-related matters to internalstakeholders. ● Share knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices across the Claims teamand the wider organization. ● Support and mentor team members, helping to develop their technical,contractual, and commercial understanding. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have substantial claims-handling experience within the tanker shipping industry, coupled with a strong understanding of tanker voyage charter parties and commercial operations. Candidate will be commercially minded, proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement, and interested in driving process enhancements that deliver measurable value to the business. Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are essential, together with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and cultures.
