IT Operation Specialist X 5 (Data Center/ 12 HR Shift) Amk

Job Summary You will serve as the single point of contact for IT incidents and service requests, manage data centre operations, and ensure smooth IT infrastructure functioning while adhering to service level agreements and supporting shift work including weekends and public holidays. Responsibilities Provide a single point of contact for incident management, service requests, and escalation to ensure timely resolution Monitor and maintain data centre operations and facilities to ensure system availability and reliability Manage equipment movement to support operational needs and asset tracking Conduct daily monitoring of system status to detect and address abnormalities promptly Ensure proper functioning of existing data centre systems to maintain operational continuity Perform tape mount and un-mount tasks for backup operations to secure data integrity Handle portable media storage for off-site backup to support disaster recovery plans Liaise with vendors to coordinate maintenance and system enhancement activities Troubleshoot and report system incidents, problems, and abnormalities to minimize downtime Resolve incidents related to routine problems or known issues to maintain service quality Adhere to service level agreements for response and turnaround times to meet customer expectations Work shifts including weekends and public holidays to provide continuous IT support Required competencies and certifications Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics, IT, or equivalent Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in IT infrastructure operations Ability to work 12-hour shifts (with Shift allowance on top of basic salary) Preferred competencies and qualifications Customer and service orientation to enhance user satisfaction Maestro HR damien lee tian hong R1106726 16C8462
