Supervisor

A Retail Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a retail store or department, ensuring excellent customer service, supporting sales targets, and supervising retail staff. Job Scope: Supervise daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. Lead and manage retail staff, including assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and training. Deliver excellent customer service by handling customer enquiries, complaints, and resolving issues professionally. Monitor sales performance and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, replenishing merchandise, conducting stock counts, and reporting discrepancies. Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained according to company guidelines. Handle cash and point-of-sale (POS) operations, including cash reconciliation and ensuring accurate transactions. Maintain store cleanliness and safety, ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations. Prepare work schedules and manage staff attendance, leave, and shift arrangements. Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new employees where required. Generate reports on sales, inventory, and store performance for management review. Support promotional campaigns and implement marketing activities in the store. Requirement: Experience in retail, with experience in a supervisory or team leader role preferred. Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
