Electrical Engineering Technician

Company Overview MARINEAID AND ENGINEERING PTE LTD is an in-house contractor to major Singapore shipyards, specializing in marine electrical engineering. Clients include ST Engineering Marine and Seatrium Group. Job Summary Perform hands-on electrical engineering tasks including servicing, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical equipment on vessels and in shipyards, working collaboratively within a team environment. Responsibilities Service, repair, install, and maintain electrical equipment on vessels and in shipyards to ensure system functionality Execute cable laying and electrical installation to maintain operational readiness of marine electrical systems Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues onboard vessels promptly to minimize downtime Collaborate with team members to complete electrical projects and maintenance efficiently Participate in training and development to enhance electrical engineering skills and knowledge Only Singaporean/PR considered Required competencies and certifications ITE or Diploma graduate in electrical engineering or related field Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience working in shipyards supporting marine electrical engineering tasks Possession of a valid driving licence to facilitate travel to work sites Residence in the western region of Singapore to support timely attendance at job locations Willingness to be trained and develop skills mid-career
