MatchMove is seeking an FP&A & Corporate Development Manager to report directly to the CFO. The role supports equity and debt fundraising alongside other corporate development projects. The successful candidate will own the financial and documentary outputs that support critical business management and investment processes. What You’ll Be Doing Building and maintaining financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses and sensitivity analysis for board and investor use Data sourcing and cleaning to support financial analysis Running the FP&A cycle and producing decision-informing analysis for presentation to the board Managing the cap table and administering the ESOP scheme Owning the data room and coordinating due diligence responses during live investment processes Supporting investor relations: producing board packs, shareholder updates, and fundraising preparation Using AI productivity tools as a matter of course: this is an expectation of the role Who We’re Looking For Highly numerate with strong familiarity with accountancy concepts; 4–6 years’ experience in a relevant role Prior experience in a venture-backed startup or growth-stage technology company (Finance or Corporate Development teams), or as an advisor (M&A investment banking, strategy consulting), or in a relevant Big 4 team (Transaction Advisory Services or Corporate Finance) Strong financial modelling skills; advanced Excel is essential, and experience with BI or other FP&A tools is an advantage Working knowledge of cap table mechanics and equity incentive schemes, including ESOP administration Familiarity with NetSuite is an advantage Familiarity with legal processes and confidence to liaise with external counsel Strong command of written and spoken English, essential for preparing board packs, managing data rooms, and communicating effectively with senior corporate stakeholders Confident and consistent user of AI and other productivity tools What to Expect The role sits alongside the CFO with direct access to the board, shareholders, and investors. You will own the financial outputs presented to the board and to prospective investors, manage the data room during live fundraising processes, and support other projects with direct, material impact on the group.
