The MTI Planning Supervisor is responsible for the effective execution and oversight of production planning, material planning, and inventory control to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and timely fulfilment of customer requirements. The role works closely with internal stakeholders, including Production, Procurement, Sales, and Logistics, as well as contract manufacturing (CM) partners, to ensure alignment between demand and supply while optimizing inventory levels and operational performance. Key Responsibilities · Develop, implement, and maintain production and material planning schedules in alignment with demand forecasts and available capacity. · Ensure availability of raw materials and finished goods to support uninterrupted production and achievement of on-time delivery performance. · Monitor and control inventory levels to maintain optimal stock balance while minimizing excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory. · Identify, assess, and manage E&O risks, and drive timely mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders. · Coordinate cross-functional functions to resolve supply, capacity, and scheduling constraints. · Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, schedule adherence, inventory accuracy, and related risk metrics. · Prepare and present periodic manage mentreports, including PowerPoint presentations, for senior management review. · Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects to enhance planning processes and system effectiveness. · Maintain accurate and timely planning data within ERP/MRP systems. · Support ad-hoc tasks, urgent requirements ,and special assignments as assigned by management to ensure business continuity and operational needs. Requirements · Minimum degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience in production planning, materials planning, or supply chain within a high mix, low volume or high-tech manufacturing environment. · Strong experience in inventory control, including Excess & Obsolete (E&O) management. · Experience in project or process improvement initiatives within supply chain or operations. · Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP,Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. · Ability to prepare management presentations (in Power Point) with strong analytical and data visualization skills. · Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities. · Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. · Ability to work effectively in a dynamic ,fast-paced manufacturing environment.
